Scott Fitzgerald and â€Å"Barn Burning† by William Faulkner look at American Identity during the Great Sadness, both view family as a characterizing variable of American personality. In â€Å"Babylon Revisited†, by F. Scott Fitzgerald, family is central point in American personality. The story starts with Charlie Wales, returning to the bar he once frequented.
